What is the best website to get directions based on traffic?
My old GPS could build routes for me based on traffic, but I had to get rid of it. I can’t find a website online that has that feature. There is a bunch of construction in my area, so I would like to be able to get a traffic optimized route home from work. Any ideas? thanks.
Google maps is pretty good with that if you live in a city.
5 Neglected Tactics to Increase Traffic to Your Blog
This articles reveals 5 simple and usually neglected traffic tactics you can start applying today get more visitors to your blog. Keep on reading to find out more.
Tactic 1: Write Blog Titles For People And Search Engines At The Same Time
The titles of your blog posts are important not just as an on-page factor from the perspective of optimizing your content for high rankings in Google, but also for human visitors.
In order to fully maximize this, always keep in mind that the headlines you choose for your blog entries must be for two important audiences. The formula for blog titles is actually very simple: Write titles for people and search engines at the same time.
These types of titles have to be interesting, eye-catching and of course related to the content that you posted online. People would instantly go for blog entries in which the titles match what they are looking for.
For example, if your target audiences would be the people who are interested in internet marketing and doing online business, an example of attention grabbing blog titles would be “5-Step Formula to Get More Traffic To Your MLM Blog”.
Though you have to consider the people who will be reading your blog, you also have to come up with titles that search engines will find relevant to everyday searches.
It would be best to input relevant keywords, especially those that are being typed in search engines like Google and Yahoo all the time. You can use keyword search tools to find out what those keywords are like Overture and Wordtracker.
For example, if you were optimizing your blog post for keyword “mlm traffic formula”, a keyword-rich and attention grabbing title for someone looking to get more visitors to a blog would be “MLM Traffic Formula - 7 Strategies to Get More Visitors to Your Blog Fast”.
Keep in mind that the title is also the single most important traffic factor that makes your readers or RSS subscribers click and read more. Also, using proper capitalization is a proven tactic to get higher response rates for your blog posts.
Capitalization refers to writing a word with its first letter in upper case and the remaining letters in lower case. Here are a few examples of title capitalization:
“3 Top Ways To Drive More Traffic To Your Blog”
“How to Generate More Leads With MLM Traffic Formula”
“Are Your Doing These Mistakes With Your Blog?”
Tactic 2: Particpate In Community Formula, Groups And Other Blog
Forums, groups and blogs are one of the best and low-cost ways of generating high-quality traffic to your blog. Becoming a member of these related online communities can not only increase your network but it can also increase the traffic that you get into your blog everyday.
These people would usually read at least 2 -3 paragraphs of what you have written as compared to other readers from other sources since they are working on the same line of business as you.
The average visitor from forums or online group will be worth anywhere from 2 to 5 times an average visitor, so try as much as possible to join as many relevant forums as you can and get to know some of the people, especially those who are usually active.
Tactic 3: Use Multimedia Content On Your Blog
Use Multimedia Content on your blog in order to add some color and variety. You can put in an image file or a video, but in terms of content you can use different kinds of formats in your text that won’t make it too boring and dull to read. Some of these include:
-Bullet points
-Blockquotes
-Indentation
Tactic 4: Write Primary For Your Target Market, Not Yourself
Always remember that you are writing primarily for your target market, not yourself. You have to do research on your target market, finding out what are their needs, problems, and wants. You can ask yourself starter questions like, “What in it for them? Why they should pay attention and visit my blog?”
Tactic 5: Become A Guest Blogger In Some Other Established Blog
Lastly, be a guest blogger in some other established blog on the internet. You get quality and relevant backlinks to your blog, which are one of the most important ranking factors for Google, Yahoo and MSN.

Value of Website Design For Building a Website
Web space is flooded with a billion sites. Website design reinforces how a site is going to fare in the web market. Each business requires traffic. Without visitors, a website runs into oblivion. It is only natural. Visitors help in generating sign ups. Such sign ups finally convert into sales. So when you look to build websites, the agenda should be to lure visitors. Here, the website design comes into play. There are many things to consider while building a website.
There are many things to be cleared up in order to develop proper website design. First, we need to buy a domain name for the website. Domain names which are very common and easily optimized can be costly. Here the idea is to choose names which automatically introduce us to the product, but the name should be niche oriented and not generic. For instance, when we build websites for a milk company, we should not name it www.milk.com. We should rather look to name it www.doubletonedmilk.com.
Once you have a domain name then you will need to look at a web hosting account. If the website needs a lot of server support, then you need a dedicated server or you can choose to use a shared server. It depends on the complexity of script and codes which the server will need to run. This is a very important part of website design. Here, people look for additional technical features like Joomla.
Next, there is a need for a theme. Themes can be downloaded cost free, but premium themes for website design usually are usually paid for. The next issue is perhaps the most important. To build websites, it is very important to effectively combine website content with website design. You should not cut corners here. A great content writer should be picked who can handle the nuances of search engine optimization.
We have discussed the need for website content. Now about website design: decorating a site with flash pages and flash splash pages are equally important. Proper highlighting completely catches the eye of a visitor. This way, he is lured to go deep into the website.
To build websites which book revenue for us, the website design must look for an affiliated ad facility. Here it is important to align with those sites which have a product quite similar to yours. For instance, a shoe site should align with leather sites and socks site. Attaching itself with a car website would not help.
For purposeful website design, the last but most valuable concept is Search engine optimization. For getting visitors, it is important to draw Google’s attention. This can be done if the website selects the right kind of keywords, works on long-tail keywords, and uses correct methods of cross-linking.

Another is by giving only a portion of the content and offering the rest on the affiliate site. A linked e-mail signature should also be included.

How would I be able to get more traffic to my blog?
I have a blog and would like more traffic…
it’s gotimer.wordpress.com
any tips?
http://www.blogunexpected.com just recently did a post on getting traffic to your site and how to make your site known by search engines. Plenty of great info to check out.
Will I get a ticket for jumping lights?
I was driving and I came to traffic lights, I literaaly went through as they were turning red.
The road was a crossroads, I noticed a traffic light camera on the road at a right angle to the one I was on. It was about 3 metres away and facing other traffic lights, not mine. Will I get a ticket?
Re: outolunch
that’s pretty pathetic. If I’d stopped, the car behind would have gone into my bumper. Think before you post. You come across ignorant.
Depends on if the camera is actually monitored, or, actually hooked up. You won’t know unless it comes in your mail. Some cameras are actually out there as a deterrent, but they’re not in operation or they may be temporarily out of service. Just be mindful that unless you do get a ticket, you’ll never know which camera is on at that time and who may be reviewing the tapes. As long as you didn’t do anything incredibly stupid, like cut someone off/almost broadside them/almost hit a pedestrian, and you have a clean driving record, I wouldn’t worry too much.
