What area of Orlando has the best traffic/tolls driving into the city?
We are relocating from Indianapolis to Orlando for work reasons and have a few communities in mind. I will be working downtown and am trying to get advice on what side of town has the best commute into the city. Can someone tell me what side of town has the best/worst traffic and the best/worst tolls? We are looking North/Northeast, Southwest and Southeast. Also, can anyone tell me if there are any good communities East of the city? Thanks for your help!
Thanks for the great info. I will keep all advice in mind.
For the most part you want to avoid any area that requires you to use I-4 to get around. Unfortunately all other roads are toll roads but its far better then the parking lot that I-4 is almost any hour of any day. Tolls are a part of life in Orlando that you just live with. Get a sunpass to put in your car and you get a discount on your tolls.
The east side of Orlando is ok but you will find a lot of college kids around b/c UCF is over there. East of the city the area to consider is Stoneybrook East.
Dr Phillips is a nice area in the southwest that you should also consider.

Increasing search engine traffic is a loaded and complicated questions.
There are paid ways to do so and free ways to do so.
If you want to start with free methods for increasing your search engine ranking here are some suggestions:
1. Get a free Google Analytics account. This is a very powerful tool and tracks your visitors, helps you with key words, gives you code to add to your site so Google can best index it according to their guidelines.
2. Use Backlinking strategies. This takes time - a lot of time - but is very effective. What you so simply is post as many places as you can and when you do so, include a link to your website. The more links TO your site the more popular search engines think your site is, thus more relevant and your ranking goes up.
3. There are lots of free software tools online for making your site search engine friendly. We offer a number of them that we review then recommend free to our members, you can also do a Google search for others.
That’s a start, unless you plan to pay for ranking or sponsored searches getting higher ranking takes a lot of time and efffort. In January Google is releasing a new search algorithm, so that will upset the apple cart again for a few people.
Good luck to you.

What is the best way to get more traffic to your blog?
What is the best advertising site you can pay for to get more traffic to your website. I have a blog with Google ad-sense and I make 15 bucks here and there. I want more traffic to the website, and I’m willing to pay 35 a month to get more people to my blog. What is the best one that has a monthly advertising fee with a guaranteed # of hits or a one time fee with a guaranteed # of hits.
Buying traffic is not as efficient as getting organic search engine traffic.
Here is his Dearl Miller’s Number One tip for sending more traffic to your site – OPTIMIZE YOUR KEYWORDS.
Think about your customers’ needs and use a tool like Google’s keyword tool to find keywords that address your customer needs yet have less competition. You can test out the keywords you choose with an Adword campaign to see the response you get. Dearl stresses figuring out the 20-30 of the best keywords and making sure your site emphasizes them, but don’t overdo it. Just put the keywords in naturally in the titles, articles, tags, and other navigational aids like menus and categories. Dearl says you can’t rely on tricks to get search engines to rank you higher because:
1. Each search engine has a different way of ranking the same pages
2. They keep your ranking methods secret and don’t want you to know
Do:
1. Have unique titles for every page on your site
2. Each title should describe a benefit and how you fulfill what they need
3. Put keywords in your titles, but don’t duplicate them
4. Put keywords in <H1> and <H2> (larger font) text
5. If possible, get a domain name with your keywords embedded in them
6. Put keywords in links in your text
7. Put keywords in your text and make a few of the bold
8. Put keywords near top and bottom of your pages
9. Put keywords in the ALT tag of your images
10. Put keywords in the TITLE attribute of anchor links
Do NOT:
1. Report keywords over and over
2. Hide keywords
3. Use frames
4. Use too much Flash or Javascript
5. Put words in your images
how do I increase my website traffic?
If I’d like to increase my blog or website traffic quickly, what’s is the best way to do it?
Depends on your site and your budget.
If Google loves it, Adwords is pretty fast. If they don’t, use Yahoo’s equivalent.
Both cost money. Check out your competitors and model your ads after theirs with your own twist. Keyword Spy is a good tool for seeing what keywords they are bidding on and how much they are paying. There is a free version.
If you like the pain of walking on broken glass, starting writing and submitting articles;) Just kidding. Make sure you know your keywords. Article marketing is keyword based. Wrong keywords = no traffic.
If you have a blog, bookmark new posts with Traffic-Bug.com. They use multiple IP addresses, different accounts, etc. so you don’t get banned.
For my blogs, I use a plug in for RSS aggregators. It sends my RSS feeds out so other websites can pick them up. Great for back-links.
Google has improved their tools big time. I’ve been using them together. Wonderwheel is a cool way to see how visitors got to my keyword while searching online. I also find the most expensive and most competitive keywords in my niche. Some are paying $9 per click. Do you think $9 per click traffic converts? Oh yeah. I let Google tell me where the traffic is coming from, they send it right to my email inbox. Then I go steal the traffic. Sweet. It’s also free. It only takes Google 15 minutes to find it for me. Beats hours writing articles and it is very targeted based on questions I tell Google to look for. A "must" for 2010.
Best wishes,
Jeff
How do you get traffic to your blog?
Do you blog? Do you blog to advertise items you are selling? I am rather new to the blogging world. I mainly blog to advertise products that I am selling and websites that I am selling on. How do I get traffic to my blog? Do I basically just need to add content? Does my blog get picked up in the search? Any advice on blogging is very much needed.
Hello, yes I mention it on my twitter account and also my other web-sites.
You are right that you need to write content, but that is not enough. You also need to do some blog promotion to get some initial visitors. If I were you I would sign up for a twitter account and start using it to promote all new posts.
Commenting on other blogs is also a great way to get visitors, because blog comments normally have a back link to your site.

What are the education requirements to get trained as an ATC? (Air Traffic Controller)?
Hey, i’m a Junior in High School thinking about becoming an ATC in the United States. But, i’m kinda unsure about the education requirements to get trained as one.
The FAA website kinda confused me. It said it was a Bachlors in college or 3 years of progressive work? A Bachlors in what, and what exactly is "progressive work?"
Plus, what kind of grades in High School would be expected to become an ATC? I’m making solid B’s in AP courses.
To become an FAA air traffic controller you do NOT need a college degree. There are two main routes you can go to becoming an ATC (other than military). First, you can go through an FAA accredited CTI program at a school that offers such program. There use to be only 13 schools in the country that offered it when I went through, now I believe there are many, many more. These can range from 2 year to 4 year programs. Do the shortest, cheapest program you can, as everyone ends up in the same place, and the FAA doesn’t care if you have a 2yr or 4yr degree. Once you graduate, you’ll get recommended by the school for hire by the FAA. Eventually you’ll get some job offers for specific facilities. Once you accept an offer, you’ll be sent to the FAA’s training academy in Oklahoma City, OK, for about 3 months or so (depends though on what option you choose: Center, Tower or Tracon). The rest of your training will take place at your new facility, and can take 2-4 years, again depending on the type of facility.
The other option is, you can take the FAA’s pre-employment test, an aptitude test, called the ATSAT. They had been offering it a few times a year at various places around the country. I don’t know what the status of that is right now, but if they offer it, take it. If you score well enough, you will get a job offer. And that’s without having to go through any school at all.
I’ve been out of the loop for a short bit now, so some things may have changed, but that’s the jist of it. Check out http://www.stuckmic.com/ for all the info. you could ever need!!
Good luck!

How Can i Get Maximum Traffic to my WEB site?
I am just launched my website
www.brinjy.com
It stuffed wih lots of fun and entertainments like
Find friends, Wishes, Blog, Issues-soln, Free Banner, Photo sharing, Tips Etc.
But now i wnt to incrs my trfic. Guide me HOW- with some good tips
Hiya, Just had a look at your site and it’s pretty cool, lots going on. My first reaction is you need to optimize your images to load faster because I have 20meg broadband and it took over 5 seconds to load all the images. This is not going to help you get traffic but it will help you keep the traffic once it arrives.
Okay, to get traffic to your website you can do a number of things, the main one it on-site SEO. This is optimizing your website so it gets listed as high as possible in the free search engines for any particular keyword. Because your market is quite competitive it will take quite a lot of work to be listed high in google and the like. There are many great sites online that teach SEO as well as many other ways to get traffic for free, sites such as
http://searchenginewatch.com/
http://www.seomoz.org/
http://www.seobook.com/
http://www.justsearching.co.uk/
http://members.seo.com/
If you don’t mind paying for traffic you can start a Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising campaign, the above sites will also teach you how to do this. Basically, you will bid to pay a certain amount for every time someone clicks on your ad. The ad is placed in the right hand side of a google search results page.
There are literally 100’s of other ways to generate traffic. Paid and free! Here is a list of ways I would consider. I’d just like to point out, all the sites above will have free information on each of these techniques.
1. Incoming links from related websites
2. Ad in Signature of your forum posts.
3. Start a blog and post on many other related blobs with a link back
4. Use social media (Open a facebook, Twitter, Myspace account for your website)
5. Post links back to your website in other places like you have here at Yahoo! answers
6. Upload videos about your site to as many video hosts you can such as YouTube.
7. One of the most powerful ways is to write between 10-20 articles about your site then post them in web 2.0 article directories such as Ezine Articles or Hub pages. Post the lot into one directory, then do the same with the next but you’ll need to make changes to the articles so their not duplicate content. Once you’ve posted an article make sure it has a link back to your site at the bottom. Also one of the most important things to make this work for you is to make sure that all the articles link to each-other as well as your site, especially linking to other directories. This will generate plenty of traffic and improve your Google page-rank to help you get listed higher in the search engines. Once you’ve done this, my advice would be to keep at it. Write at least one or two new articles a week and post them to the site to keep this working for you.
8. Post links to your site from bookmarking sites such as Digg or Delicious. The sites above will help you to really boost your Social Networking strategy
9. Email marketing, Find another website in your niche who is prepared to joint venture with you. Come up with some mutually beneficial agreement which would allow you to send an ad to all his or her email subscribers.
10. Ask people who register to tell a friend. Offer them some sort of incentive if they tell five Friends about your site. I always direct a subscriber to a ‘tell a friend form’ as soon as they’ve signed up.
Anyway this is only 10 ways off the top of my head, theres tons more, you just need to be creative and utilize all the sites you visit regularly.
Finally, I just want to stress, be careful if you decide to buy a traffic generating or SEO service from a company because although there are a lot of honest experts out there, there are also a lot of dishonest. A lot of these service providers claim to be able to guarantee number one search engine spots and many over outrageous claims. For you market it would be difficult and very time consuming to get your site listed high for the most popular search terms so what these companies would do is get you listed high for a long keyword phrase that’s probably useless with very few people searching. This is called a long tail optimization. Generally a long tail can be very effective when done correctly and incorporated with a strong all round SEO campaign but be warned this strategy allows these services so live up to there promise by giving you a high listing in useless territory.
If you use a bit of common sense and study the sites above you can realistically do you SEO yourself and find many other ways to pull in traffic temporarily until you start to get listed high in the search engine and get a reputation.
