What kind of cables do traffic cameras and security cameras use to transfer their videos to places?

Does anyone know what kind of cables surveillance cameras usually use to transfer images to security people? Ethernet? USB? WiFi?

How about traffic cameras? Do they use cellphone towers?

usually coax to an ip video encoder then ethernet to a switch then it could go wifi or fiber back to a central office. traffic cameras work the same way. some enforcement cameras use a dsl connection.
